eyond my expectations is an understatement. I didn't imagine I'd find a 4 star hotel on location in this travel. It's new, modern, boutique with clean rooms, courteous staff, great food and fantastic ambience. Same hotel in Nairobi is not less double the price. We loved everything about our stay, quiet serene environment too. We thought the food portions were a bit on the lower side but again food is very fairly priced. Love it. Can't wait to come back. Oh, and the manager, Peter deserves special mention, great man made sure to check on us every time.
This is one of my favorite places to go to have lunch and feel relaxed. Winnie (one of the servers) is so wonderful. I have eaten at the Willis more than 10 times and the service is superb. The Willis gives the feel of a high end Nairobi hotel that is located in rural Kenya. The washrooms are so very nice and are incredibly clean. I really enjoy being able to see the kitchen from the seating area as it shows the pride they take in making the food and keeping everything sanitary. You won't find another restaurant like this within a 1.5 hour drive. The nyama choma is the best. Call ahead of time verifying they have it on the menu that day. The landscaping/gardening is beautiful
